DC DRIVE SEPEX MOTOR TEST PROCEDURE

Test procedure for a DC drive motor.

1. Turn off main battery disconnect switch in front right wheel well. 
2. Disconnect all battery cables from motor. 
3. Take a multi-meter and have it setup to test continuity for all these tests.
4. Place negative test lead against the case of the motor. Pick a bare metal location. 
5. Place positive lead on A1. Should not have any continuity.
6. Place positive lead on A2. Should not have any continuity.
7. Place positive lead on F1. Should not have any continuity.​
   
8. Place positive lead on F2. Should not have any continuity.​
   
9. Remove negative test lead from ground.
10. Place negative test lead on A1 and positive test lead on A2. Should have full continuity.
11. Place negative test lead on F1 and positive test lead on F2. Should have full continuity.
    

If any of these test fail motor is bad and needs repair or replacement. If all test good than more than likely the motor is good.
